The LivePVR On-device Voice mail feature is a lot different that other on-device Voice mail access solutions that you might have come across. It has no additional cost associated with it. You do not have to sign-up for any additional service, no monthly fee or no per minute fee - all you need is to have a LivePVR Professional or higher version and a supported device. When you enable the Voice mail feature in LivePVR, it will automatically answer your calls if you do not answer the call within the specified time. It will play the greetings and allow the caller to leave a voice message which will be stored on your device. You can access those recorded voice messages later using LivePVR file browser just like the other LivePVR recordings. The automatic backup and syncing feature can also be used for these Voice mail messages.

- Set you own Voice mail greetings

- Record the message on the same call on caller's airtime

- Set the length of Voice message caller can record

- Filter calls and pickup only the calls you want

- Automatically or manually backup Voice mail files

- Voice message file names carry phone number and other details for easy identification

- Sync voice messages to PC

Since LivePVR Voice mail messages are stored on the device as audio files, you do not have to call any operator number to retrieve them. They are available to you anytime, anywhere and unlike operator voice mail service, these messages can be accessed randomly and the visual text will instantly tell you which messages are from whom.

The biggest advantage of this feature is its ability to allow you to filter calls which your operator voice mail can not provide. In case of the operator voice mail, once the call goes to voice mail you have no option but to call back the voice mail access number, hear the message and then call back the caller if you need to. When using LivePVR Voice mail feature, if a call comes in and you do not know who it is from, but are still interested to know before you answer - let the LivePVR Voice mail system answer the call. When the caller starts leaving the message, you will have a chance to hear it and you can decide if you want the person to continue leaving the messages or you want to interrupt the voice message, pick up the phone and talk to that person.

Can I screen calls using this feature?

Absolutely! When your caller starts leaving the voice message on your phone, you will be able to hear it. At that point, you decide whether you want to start talking to the caller right away. If you do, then you have the option of picking up the phone, start talking to the caller and also record the conversation if you need to.
