Schedule PVR provides the unique ability to the user that allows user to remember to record every important meetings, conversations or other events that need to be recorded. Voice recording and meeting recording can be scheduled by user and LivePVR will automatically start recording when the schedul elapses.
Scheduling recording in LivePVR is very simple. The Schedule PVR application provides a user interface where you specify whether you want to schedule voice recording or a meeting recording, date, time and duration of the recording, and whether you want the recording to be automatic or after confirmation from you.
When the schedule triggers, if no confirmation is required, LivePVR will automatically start the recording in the background. If you open the LivePVR user interface when a scheduled recording is going on, the corresponding recorder page will be shown. The recording will automatically stop after the elapsed time or you can force it to stop using Hotkey.
If the recording requires confirmation, LivePVR will display a conformation message to you and you will have the option to either go ahead with the recording, cancel or reschedule it.
If the Backup option is enabled for the type of recording, the recorded files will also be automatically backed up.
The Scheduling feature can be easily integrated with enterprise calendar applications such as Exchange Outlook. LivePVR can be made to detect appointments scheduled in Outlook with LivePVR recording option and schedule them for recording. When the schedules trigger the recording will start automatically and the recorded files can be attached to the appointment record.
Voice PVR, the LivePVR Voice recording application is not just another Voice recorder, it provides a set of rich functionality not available in the device in-built audio recorder. Automatic classification and management of the recorded Audio files gives user the ability to easily identify, archieve, and use it for the particular purpose it was recorded. Although it supports recording of Voice notes of any length [up to the maximum storage size available on the device storage] , user still has the ability to setup the parameters to control maximum recording length for each individual audio file. Voice PVR Audio file names contain Date & time of recording, and additional tags that helps user identify the various Voice notes later.
Voice PVR supports manual recording using the LivePVR user interface, recording through HotKey without using the user interface, and recording using the LivePVR scheduled recording feature [available in enterprise version]. Scheduled recording starts at a set time, and ends after the specified duration.
LivePVR Voice recording application automatically adds tags to the audio files which can be referenced later to determine their source, time of recording, and the context. These tags can be used by any other application to voice enable application features using LivePVR recorded files. For example the LivePVR Outlook Companion featured in this site uses these tags to find related Outlook entries and attaches the audio files to these entries. These tags do not have any impact on the ability of any media player being able to play these audio files.
When do I use Scheduled recording feature? With LivePVR scheduled recording you never have to say "Oh! I should have recorded that meeting.." It also helps you to record events and meetings even without bringing the phone out of your pocket and without pressing any keys.
