It’s whole new way to manage Audio content using Outlook

LivePVR Outlook version is a Microsoft Outlook Plug-in. When installed, it automatically listens to LivePVR files being received through email and creates separate journal entries for them and automatically links the recorded files to their corresponding Outlook entities. So, if you have set the automatic backup option in LivePVR to backup recording instances by Email, and have recorded Phone calls, Meetings, Voice mail messages and Voice notes, Contact notes, Call notes etc. you will find these files automatically organized as different types of journal entries and linked to the corresponding contacts and calendar entries in Outlook when you are back at your desktop.

The user interface portion of the Outlook Plug-in is embedded in the right todo pane of Outlook and it saves you time in finding information in the journal entries for different entities e.g. contacts, calendar events, tasks etc. As soon as you select a outlook contact, or select an email from a contact, the Outlook plug-in shows you all the contact's recorded phone calls, all voice messages from the contact, and all voice notes you have recorded for the contact. Clicking any audio file plays the message in the embedded audio player.

Note the text comments with the Audio files in the picture. They are the comments you enter now in LivePVR or the plug-in summerizing the content of the audio recording. Versions of the Outlook plug-in will be available soon to automatically convert the audio files to text and show the first few lines of the converted text as comment.

If you do not use the Backup option in LivePVR but use the LivePVR Sync application, then the LivePVR Sync application can be configured to feed the audio files to the Outlook Plug-in when the device is synced to PC and you still get the same benefit from the LivePVR Outlook plug-in.
