Meeting Notes PVR provides the user real time meeting notes recording ability using Timed or Manual capture. It allows you to record moments-in-time, or "thoughts" during a meeting, but without missing the context that led up to that main point or thought. Using pre-defined application settings, a certain number of seconds are recorded using the Rolling Buffer, both before and after pressing the Timed Capture. This ensures you always have proper context to your recordings. By also providing synchronization capabilities with ActiveSync, you can have these recordings, with their meeting context, embedded in your Microsoft OneNote files or other note taking applications. With Meeting Notes PVR, you do not have to record the entire meeting unless you want to. Start Timed or Manual capture as many times during meeting as you like. Or, keep the application running in the background and use HotKey when a point is made that you want to record and keep pressing the HotKey to start and stop recording as many time as you want during the meeting. Multiple sound clips of the meeting will be created and they will all be aggregated under one meeting.
LivePVR provides the ability to tag the recorded audio files with additional information which can be used as a reference to the event which the recording belongs to. Meeting Note PVR uses this option to embed the subject of the meeting and other information in the audio files which is used by the LivePVR desktop product to group the audio files based on their tags.
I got all these recorded files. Now what can I do with it? Using the free desktop application LivePVRSync (included in LivePVR package), you can copy or move the recorded files to PC and attach them to Outlook entries or drop them into notes application such as OneNote, or you can use them with LivePVR Desktop program, or LivePVR Outlook edition for enhanced knowledge management functionality. |
