Will the program beep when I record phone calls?
Beeping during phone call recording is a hardware function and Windows Mobile devices do not generate any beep during recording. However, Symbian S60 devices do generate beep and we have an algorithm to suppress the beep which is an user option. However, as new devices (and new firmware) has become quite frequent, the program may not be able to suppress beep in all cases. We urge you to try the fully functional trial version before you make the purchase. Please note: If your state requires you to legally sound a beep during call recording, you should not try to suppress the beep.

How can Voice PVR be used as dictation tool?
The Voice PVR application provides option to record, pause and re-start recording. It also allows you to automatically send the recorded files to designated servers which can be easily set in settings . You can use it as dictation tool to record thoughts and send it over to yourself and other parties for transcription. When used along with the Desktop application, your recorded files can be automatically organized to the respective subject folders.

Can I screen calls using Voice Mail feature?
Absolutely! When your caller starts leaving the voice message on your phone, you will be able to hear it. At that point, you decide whether you want to start talking to the caller right away. If you do, then you have the option of picking up the phone, start talking to the caller and also record the conversation if you need to.

Does Voice blogging transfer the audio file to the blog?
Voice blogging does not transfer the audio file to the blog. It saves the audio file on a central server with the password (if any) you have set to open the file. The URL that points to the stored Audio file is returned to your program which posts the URL along with the test to the blog site. Your blog readers read the text part and click on the Audio URL link to listed to the audio from the central server.

Does Voice post save the audio file to posting site?
Sites that allow posting messages normally do not allow audio files to be uploaded to their site. Therefore, this feature does not post the audio file to those sites, it justs posts a unique URL to your Audio file to the post along with the text you enter. The Audio files are stored in a central server that the URLs poinsts to. You have to option to password protect the Audio files and send the passwords to your friends who you think should be allowed to listen to it. If you do not provide a password any of your friends can listen to it.

How is this Voice recorder different than the default audio recorder that comes free on the device?
Voice PVR application in LivePVR provides a much easier user interface that allows you to start, pause and stop recording. It can also be initiated using HotKey. It appends the date and time of the recording to the file name making it easier to sort out later. In this new version of LivePVR, audio file tagging is introduced which makes it possible to tag files with addition information related to the recording. If you have professional or enterprise version of LivePVR, the Voice recorder can automatically backup your recorded files, and record based on schedules.

I got all these recorded files. Now what can I do with it?
Using the free desktop application LivePVRSync (included in LivePVR package), you can copy or move the recorded files to PC and attach them to Outlook entries or drop them into notes application such as OneNote, or you can use them with LivePVR Desktop program, or LivePVR Outlook edition for enhanced knowledge management functionality.

Do I use any specific Email Id for Backup?
You can use any of your standard Email IDs for Backup. LivePVR will send the attachment to the email id you provide. If you use LivePVR Outlook plug-in then it will automatically detect the incoming LivePVR emails and organize the files as Journal record of appropriate type and link the Journal records to the appropriate Contacts or Calendar entries. If you do not use the Outlook-plugin you will have to manually organize the LivePVR emails to separate folders.

When do I use Scheduled recording feature?
With LivePVR scheduled recording you never have to say "Oh! I should have recorded that meeting.." It also helps you to record events and meetings even without bringing the phone out of your pocket and without pressing any keys. Scheduled recording can be useful in any situation. Lets say for example you have an important class in the morning and you don't want to forget recording it, just schedule a Voice PVR recording for the class time. If you are like other mobile phone users, the phone will be there annway so it will start recording and stop after the scheduled time elapsed without you pressing any keys.
